Dakota “Dak” Garber of Collinsville, IL, was found eaten by a shark on Monday, after eye witnesses said they told him to not go near it and he replied with, “Oh you just got to tickle ‘em a bit now”
The now Florida resident was out with his girlfriend on Monday walking down the beach when a unsuspecting predator was spotted near the shoreline; Dakota quickly stated that he needed to Snapchat that, and proceeded to move-in closer to the animal. As people shouted more at him to turn away he simply said, “it’s not like it’ll eat me”. Apparently Mr. Garber had no clear indication that sharks were indeed dangerous, just thought of them as the “cool” animals of the sea.
“He never thought he was in danger because he said sharks are just fish” - A bystander said. Unfortunately for Dakota, his worries about sharks should’ve been real.
