Medstar is set to announce a new policy that is already drawing fire from within.
As of August 1st, Medstar field employees will no longer be allowed to have fun in the cab of the truck. Manager Michael Sandell says "We've been watching the cameras, and we see these crews having to much fun." Cameras have been installed over the past few years to help protect the company in case of an accident, but Sandell says they've caught much more, from telling jokes to talking about their plans for after work, discussing their weekend or blowing off steam after a bad run, "These folks are talking too much," he says, “This is a place of business, not a social club. We only ask 12-24 or so hours per day from them, the least they can do is give their full attention.” This move from the company comes after several employees were seen laughing, telling jokes and even somewhat enjoying their 24 hour shift. When reached for comment, one employee (we'll call him Cogan Lhandler to protect his identity) was quoted as saying "*expletive* that! I'll say what I want, when I want, to who I want! I didn't kick chlamydias ass to be treated this way!"
