Richmond, VA (AP):
T. Bradley Tucker, a local musician and co-founder of Richmond area roots-pop band The Taters, was dismissed from his position late Friday evening as vocalist and rhythm guitarist, according to a statement from the band's publicist. According to the statement, Tucker had been seen kissing and hugging his wife before and after shows in full view of patrons and staff members at several local venues in and around the Richmond area.
"This has been going on for quite some time, more than 27 years in fact, at least ever since they've been married", said Craig Evans, band leader and Tucker's former singing partner. "We had been sort of tolerating it, and even turning a blind eye to it, as we've always felt that Brad was a talented and valuable contributor to the Tater sound. But in today's moral climate, we felt that it would be best to terminate our relationship with him immediately. At our most recent show, he walked into the venue holding hands with her, and that was pretty much the last straw. We wish Brad all the best in his future endeavors, and we hope that he seeks and receives the help that he so desperately needs".
Tucker, reportedly staying at a commune near a Colorado medical marijuana dispensary, could not be reached for comment.
