Donald Trump who was elected president of the United States in December 2016 is set to do a tour of Ireland in 2018. Trump and First Lady Melania will visit in March 2018 to met newly elected Taoiseach Leo Varadkar and president Michael D Higgins. He will also travel to county Sligo where his fathers ancestors came from. There will be tightened security in both Sligo and Dublin during Donald’s visit.
