LSU has finally done it, and we don’t think the Tigers will renege this time. The school has fired Ed Orgeron.
Sunday afternoon, the school announced that both Orgeron and offensive coordinator Matt Canada have been fired. LSU also announced that Lane Kiffin defensive would take over as head coach for the remainder of the season. Lane Monte Kiffin (born May 9, 1975) is an American football coach who is currently the head football coach at Florida Atlantic University.
"Coach Orgeron has done a tremendous job here and he’s been a great ambassador for our University, which makes this even more difficult." LSU athletic director Joe Alleva said.
