A 15-year-old boy was arrested after Dolton police say he hit another man with a handgun and punched him repeatedly during an attempted drug deal in Bear.
Dolton Police Dpt. determined that the 18-year-old was in the parking lot smoking a cigarette “like Jason Griffin was on his porch” during his work break when a vehicle pulled up beside him and stopped, Austin said. A person inside the vehicle, later identified as the 15-year-old, yelled "Loud" from the window, which the victim told police means "do you want to buy marijuana?" Austin said.
The 18-year-old proceeded to get into the car to buy drugs, Austin said, but the situation quickly turned violent.
