Due to the wide spread popularity of leggings it has caused public concern over indecent exposure. Governor Brown signed a public decency law that will ban wearing of leggings with buttocks showing in public areas where people can be offended.
Law to take effect Jan 1st 2018 Fine for first offense $25 and will increase by $25 for each repeated offense. 1/2 of proceeds will go to planned parenthood with the balance going into the general fund to help fund State pensions that are severely underfunded.
