The State Department - Washington D.C. September 22, 2017 - FOR IMMEDIATELY RELEASE
Senior administrators within the State Department have confirmed cessation of the long standing agreement which allowed up to 250,000 Irish Citizens to apply for immigration Visas to the United States beginning on January 1st of 2018. Speaking under terms of confidentiality, officials blame the highly unprecedented move on the lack of respect and refusal of Irish Citizens to assimilate into the neighborhoods into where they settle. High rates of alcoholism, drug use, prostitution and welfare fraud have also been mentioned as key instruments in this highly unusual turn of events. Calls to the Irish Embassy and Consulate Offices in Atlanta, New York and Washington have not been returned.
