Get ready for another tax.
This week Rahm Emaunal proposed a new social media tax for Chicago residens that access social media accounts via their cellphone.
The proposed tax would be 10 percent per social media account. Funds from this new tax would go towards a Sanctuary relief fund, City park services, and Streets and Sanitation.
The Mayor and officials are hoping this will bring an extra 25 million a month if passed.
