Bentonville,Ak Walmart announced on 7-15-2017 that they plan on closing 250 stores in Kentucky. A representative for Walmart was called for questions on why they are closing 250 Kentucky stores. She said that while business is booming but Kentucky has 450 Walmart and super Walmart store's and half need to be updated or have a lot of updating that needs to be done to get these store up to the owners of Walmart are happy these stores will remained closed once they close.
