Thursday, Facebook officials held a press conference in the break room today in Fort Knox, California. Their efforts are to decrease the scare of their increasing prank post.
Facebook's CEO, Mark Wahlberg, has received multiple complaints to remove fake shared post. However, because these post are so easily spread like AIDs, it is hard to stop. "We're just going to start giving everyone that shares said post a soft ban" Mark said. "If they fail to fact check by their third report, we'll eliminate their accounts and ask that they sign into MySpace" he continued.
MySpace, a popular social media platform was once what Facebook is today. Some of you millenials may not recall ever using the social media page. It was because your parent's mother and father started using it, that made everyone switch over to Facebook. Just as they're switching to Twitter.
Tim, the man we see by the fax machine daily, had this to say, "It's annoying." When we asked him to elaborate he had this to say, "what you just asked me."
So, there it is. There you have it. Fact check and you'll be able to continue using Facebook.
