Metallica recently announced that the famous metal band will begin an ALL acoustic tour in 2018. The tour will only feature six dates, which will occur every other month. Huntsville, AL is rumored to be the first city stop of the tour which begins in February 2018. When asked about the tour, lead singer James Hetfield had this to say: "We have been touring heavy throughout 2017 and it's been great to be back at it. Lars and I felt we should really change some things up and do something different for 2018. We talked with Robert and Kirk and they were all on board for the venture. Lars suggested we tone it down and try a few acoustic shows, maybe cut an acoustic album of sorts later in the year.". Drummer Lars Ulrich stated the band will choose smaller venues to give fans a more up and close feeling as is normal for acoustic settings. Tickets will be limited but, videos of the concert set will be made available for purchase on the band's website. Fans are already taking to social media about the announcement and one fan was not too fond of it stating: "I guess at their age they just feel like their ears must need a rest....lol. Seriously, Metallica doing all acoustic????". No matter the outlook, Huntsville will truly be buzzing about the news.
