Greek woman intimidates Dutch tourist pair, is sought by the Police

The woman accused of fleeing after striking a Dutch pair on Parga a few days ago had been drinking with friends for hours before the incident, local Police said Thursday.
An unknown woman, in her 30s (pictured), is sought since last week. The alleged felony is leaving the scene after hitting the pair on August 6th. The offense carries a maximum penalty of 3 years in prison, prosecutors said.
Tourist Elsje van den Driest and boyfriend Adreano filed a complaint with the police at the Preveza Police station on Saturday. A tour guide helped act as translator for the report.
If found, the perpetrator faces a steep fine and possible restriction, the Police Chief said. She will have to wear a GPS monitor and is barred from driving, using alcohol or drugs.
Van den Driest wiped tears from her eyes as she described the incident. She talk to Breaking News 365 how the tragedy has affected the family.
“This woman has affected our lives, our sense of safety and security", Elsje said. "My 26-year marriage is close to being demolished. I truly hope she is found and punished".
