Over fourteen thousand Facebook members found a hoax washed up on the shores of Lake Michigan. This is the seventh such hoax discovered on a Michigan beach, and it's only Tuesday.
"Seriously, I don't know what's going on," said John "Scratchin" M'Butt, a hoaxologist at the Fox News Institute. "These things keep washing ashore, and people believe they exist. We don't know what to do."
The hoax caused a minor panic among nude sunbathers, who scrambled to cover their fun-fun bits before the alt-right arrived to blame Barack Obama.
"This hoax is absolutely true!" said President Donald Trump in a statement. "This hoax is the biggest. Absolutely stunning! But the audience at my inauguration was bigger. Hillary's emails!"
M'Butt arrived with two graduate students to take the hoax back to Fox News Institute for further study, but not before Pat Roberston declared it a sign from heaven and several thousand people posted the hoax to Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
