Terrence Burns, a key person of interest in the Russian influence investigation, has been photographed leaving a well known "Russian Gift Shop" in Leavenworth Washington this week with a bag reported to be given to him by top Russian agent Anatoly Volkov. Volkov is said to be a close associate of Vladimir Putin and a member of the KGB since 1983.
Although the contents of the bag are unknown at this time, sources close to Burns are saying that the bag is thought to contain numerous items, including sophisticated electronic surveillance equipment for use under cover during Burns "Western Tour". Also thought to be contained in the "drop bag" are some "official" Russian vouchers for an all expense paid trip to Crimea, a well known gathering spot and playground for Russian elites.
The Trump administration has denied any involvement with Burns, The Western Tour, or any knowledge that Burns and Volkov are associates.
Burns could not be reached for comment.
