University of Cincinnati Athletic Director Mike Bohn stunned Queen City Bearcat fans today with the announcement that Mick Cronin has immediately left the UC team to pursue interests outside of NCAA basketball. Bohn also shocked the Cincinnati fan base by introducing former Xavier coach Pete Gillen as Cronin's replacement. "I am thrilled to return to the city where my coaching career got it's start," said Gillen. He also wished Cronin the best in his future endeavors. It has been rumored that Cronin was approached weeks ago by Reds' shortstop several weeks ago Zack Cozart to see if he would be interested in managing a donkey farm that Cozart recently obtained as a gift.
