In a strange computer glitch of unknown origin, ATM machines belonging to one bank in Des Moines, Iowa have all been switched to work in Russian. A bank representative spoke with our reporter on the condition of anonymity and gave the following statement:
"It's just weird. Some time over the weekend, all of our machines switched to Russian. The customer menus were all changed back to English by remote download, but the supervisor menus needed to service the machine are all in Russian."
The unnamed bank is continuing to investigate and is reviewing surveillance video to see if there was tampering.
