Leonard Parkin, 51, of Sarnia, Ontario was caught off guard when his car headed northbound on 40 highway just north of Wallaceburg burst into flames this morning on his journey home from work. Parkin said, "I got on the highway and opened it up to get home to surprise the girlfriend and kids, when all of a sudden all my electrical power was gone and I saw smoke and flames coming from under the hood". Parkin then jumped out of the car and flagged down a passing Motorist. He was uninjured from the fire, but is in a Wallaceburg hospital with minor injuries from exiting the moving vehicle. He is expected to be released in time to go back to work tomorrow morning.
Parkin also stated that, "If you believe this, I have a business proposition for you, that can make you a millionaire in less then 2 days"!
