Sources are reporting that lead vocalist Levi Benton, of the metal band Miss May I, has been found dead at the age of 26.
Confirmed reports state Benton was found dead Thursday late afternoon in his home in Troy, Ohio after another band member noticed he was not answering his calls.
Bass guitarist Ryan Neff arrived at Benton's home to discover his body.
Police are still trying to determine the cause of death at this time but speculate drug overdoses was the cause.
In an interview with Neff "I've known Levi for the better part of my life. We went to high school together. He never showed that he was having issues with drugs. He never told any of us as far as I know. Levi was a regular church goer when not on the bus. He loved god. It just doesn't make any sense as to why this could have happened."
As of right now it looks like the police think drug overdose but as the investigation unfolds the truth will be revealed.
