A Missouri bill passed last August went largely unnoticed. Missouri bill H.R. 265 requires all school bus drivers to not only pass the CDL test but also an IQ test also .
This applies to all school bus transportation employees new hire and present. Set to go effect by July 1, 2017 they hope the testing will completed by the 2017/2018 school year.
It's hoped that the IQ testing will insure that the drivers transporting our future are sharp enough to recognize safety hazards earlier and quicker.
