The Wigan Warriors have announced that they have captured New Zealand Star and current Dally M medal winner Jason Taumalolo from the North Queensland Cowboys on a 2 year deal. Wigan head coach Shaun Wane said "we've had our eye on him (Jason) for sometime now, and when our managing director (Kris Radlinski) said it could happen, I didn't hesitate to sign him, he will be a key member in our squad and our 2017 ambitions" said Wane.
Jason Taumalolo also spoke saying "it's an honour to be playing for such a great club, Wigan are well known in Australia and I can't wait to be putting on the famous cherry and white jersey on"
The Wigan Warriors first game will be on the 14th February as they take on current NRL Champions Cronulla Sharks at the DW stadium to be crowned best in the world.
