After many years, The St Leonards Academy in Hastings, England; is shutting down due to lack of staff. Many teachers have quit, saying that the condition of the Ofsted good-rated school is apparently "abysmal" and "lacking order". Many new teachers have had to find alternate jobs after being at the school for only a few weeks. The children's parents have been notified as of late and, though many have concern, have secured places in other schools. The headmaster, who did not want to be mentioned, said that he was so sad that the school was coming to an abrupt end but that he trusts many students will have a better education elsewhere. The school will be notifying students on November 9th of the closure and after 2 weeks of closing, the school will be knocked down for the government to create housing for new citizens yet to arrive.
