Leesburg, Virginia resident Mike Sheldon was rushed to the Inova Loudoun Hospital early Thursday morning with non life threatening injuries sustained in a DRY kayaking accident near a hiking trail in Leesburg Virginia. Emergency room personnel stated that it required four pounds of cooking oil and the jaws of life to remove the man from the inside of the one person kayak. When asked about how the accident occurred, Mr. Sheldon declined to elaborate except to say, "It was dark and I thought there was a stream there", before pushing past this reporter and running off.
