An anonymous source within the baseball hall of fame in Cooperstown has admitted that the red stain visible to patrons on Curt Schillings sock is actually ketchup and not blood as people are led to believe. The source confirmed rumours that have been circulating for a number of years. He also stated that the curator of the hall of fame arrives one hour before to add the ketchup in order to maintain the crimson red that people have been accustomed to. Officials at the baseball hall of fame could not be reached for comment.
