Bryan Johnson landed this possible state record musky on the bay of Green Bay on 10/15/16. Johnson who hired Jerry Huffar of Hurricane's guide service, credits Huffar for putting him in the right spot to land this trophy and possible state record musky. Huffar is a waiting confirmation from the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources if this could be the state record. The current record is 63" 69lbs caught by Louie Spray on the Chippewa flowage in 1939. Huffar who co-host a fishing radio show with Adam Walton on 101.9 & 1490 Iron Country credits Walton for targeting this specific location where these trophies hold in the bay this time of year. Walton also owns his own guide service(Pike Pole Fishing Guide service) out of Edgerton, Wisconsin. Johnson who is from Naperville, Illinois said this is a dream come true. You can catch Huffar aka Hurricane Jerry and Adam Walton on The Fishing Hole on Iron Country on 101.9 &1490 every Saturday morning at 7:20am.
