Starting back in 2005 women's knickers started to go missing off washing lines, for months Huddersfield police were baffled as to who was the phantom Knicker stealer was says Huddersfield's CID's department.
We sent in undercover officers around the Golcar area and set up surveillance with some suspects who included the known offender Mr Liam Burke as well as other Including Christian Morris, Cameron Brown and Matthew Dickson to try catch the Knicker stealer once and for all.
On Sept 20th 2016, Liam Burke was seen in the Rose and Crown in the toilets sniff a blue pair of knickers and later hiding down the back of the toilets, DNA test proved Liam Burke was infact the Golcar knicker sniffer and had been offending since 2005.
If you see the suspect please call West Yorkshire Police 01484 642173 and do not approach this man if you are wearing any Knicker's as he could try steal and sniff them
