Trinity Academy, in Leith, has been earmarked for demolition following an inspection of the building on Friday. Inspectors reported that the two oldest sections of the school, the original building and the 1960's tower block, were decaying and in the tower block, the supports were cracking. Edinburgh City Council now face the decision to either demolish two oldest sections by explosives, or, repair the building at a cost of £2,500,000.
