(Columbus, Ohio) Rapper and Actor Shad Moss, also known as Bow Wow recently announced his retirement from the hip hop industry in August after not having a hit album since 2007. Moss caught a lot of backlash from this because so many people thought he had already given up on Hip Hop. It also did not help that he has been caught saying some pretty controversial things on social media, some of which involve his hometown. Moss has made a few posts that were not well received by the people of his homestate of Ohio. It seems as if the general consensus is Bow Wow never really represented his birthplace, Columbus, Ohio well or done anything substantial for their community. On one of his latest posts Moss posted a picture of himself in Cleveland with the caption "Back in Ohio". The comments were "lit" with witty and unfiltered responses like "Go Home Roger" , "Back to not giving a f***", "You ain't in Columbus [though]", and "Back then you didn't want us, Now we hot and you all on us." The rapper later posted a video seeming unbothered by the backlash. But, now he is trying to win his city back in his next music video. Bow Wow's PR contacted us saying: "Bow wow may seem like he doesn't care on camera, but off camera he is genuinely hurt that he is not accepted by his hometown. He's always talking about ways that maybe can get Columbus back on his side. Now he has not dropped the song yet. The song and video will come out at the same time. However, we are in the works of making the video. We're going to get the hottest models and actresses in the 614 area to collab with us. Were also going to select fans to come through to the shoot as well. We want to prove that Shad is still loved in Columbus no matter what his haters say." Could Bow Wow really win over his city or is it too late? Only time will tell.
